Snow Leopard Can't merge PDF anymore?

I was using the Leopard on my Macbook and it was fun to use this operating system. Now i have changed my operating system as Snow Leopard and i have noticed one problem. Actually i am very much used to PDF files and i know that Leopard used to merge PDF files easily. I mean dragging the pages of one PDF files to the other was working on Leopard but it does not seems to be working on Snow Leopard.

Here you can merge two PDF documents into a single PDF file. The pages of the second document are appended to the first document. For instance you could after the dismantling of a PDF document (English " split pdf ") into individual pages, pages for a new document to merge two. It's simple - choose to merge the first and second PDF file, press the button "Merge" - done.

With the tool of PDF Split Merge can merge PDF file split easily. From a PDF file do more. The free software adds several PDF files into one and vice versa. The nice thing is that the software is very easy to use. Simply select the PDF files that you want to merge and to pushing a button. The laborious work, revert any PDF file into their source, to then again write with others in a new PDF file is omitted. PDF Split and Merge makes it really easy, from multiple PDF documents to create one large PDF document.

To merge two PDF files in Mac OS X :
    1. Double-click on any PDF documents
    2. Click on the icon "Sidebar" to bring up the icons to the right of every page of the PDF document
    3. in the sidebar (right) of the second PDF document, select all pages, and drag and drop in the sidebar of the first PDF document
    4. save
    5. you now have a single PDF file which is the fusion of two original PDF files

Snow in Leo, a solution for combining PDF files, is through automator to create a service.
    • Launch Automator
    • Select "Service"
    • Top
    • "Receiving hard service selected," take "PDF File"
    • "In order" take "Finder"
    • Add the action "Combine the pages of the PDF document (in action" PDF ")
    • Select "add page"
    • Add the action "Open Finder Items" (in action "Finder")
    • A "Open With", select "Preview"
    • Save the service, for example with the name "PDF-Combine"

(In Leopard, there was no need to add the action "Open Finder Items" was automatically ...) The service is registered in the directory "user / Bibliotheque / Services". To run the service, Select from the finder to combine PDF files (it will be taken in order). Menu "Finder" -> "Service" -> select the service created (or right-click menu also appears at the end). The service runs and opens "Preview" with the combined file. "Save As the resulting PDF into your documents. (By default, a temporary pdf file is created in "private / var / ... / tmp, and after I'm not sure if this temporary directory is emptied from time to time automatically or how to delete these temporary files).

In the meantime, if I use this little Widget, PDF + PDF , which allows you to merge into a single document. pdf multiple sheets. pdf. It seems to me that one is limited to 4 leaves, but as you can then merge the result with other sheets. Pdf is not really limited, although the approach is somewhat laborious.
