Horizontal stripes at Start Screen of Windows 7

Right from the Start screen of Windows 7, I get horizontal stripes visible on the monitor. Even with the system queries for approval the small window is almost unreadable. With the VGA drivers from Windows 7 will not happen. The video card was running on Windows XP without problems. The problem started only with Windows 7. The following is configuration of my system:

Board: Asrock Sata2 4Core
CPU: Intel Dual Core 6400
RAM: 2 GB
Graphics: Geforce 7800GS (AGP)

What is your resolution? CRT or LCD? VGA ports are really only suitable up to 1280x1024 pixels for higher resolution should be prepared DVI or HDMI connections. Personally, I had a while my 24" TFT with VGA connected to my notebook and annoyed regularly about the poor picture quality (flickering strip, especially for images, transparency effects and gray represent should. Now the monitor is using DVI on my PC and the quality of the picture is perfect.

My monitor is an old CRT monitor is connected via RGB. The error occurs regardless of the selected resolution. Even at 800x600 it is there. Also I have tried to install the latest version of display adapters but that also didn't succeeded. Since my problem still exists, I would again ask for help. Unfortunately, the previous answers were not helpful.

I could be there a little light into the darkness may bring. I have the same problem and no, I'm still not able to solve. This is the first thread that I find it. The strips can be found as stated in the startup screen that appears before the desktop, in the confirmation screen when you shut down and the system request for approval of a non-authenticated program. The interesting is now that my system:

• Board: Asrock Sata2 4Core
• CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E 5300
• RAM: 2 GB
• Graphics: Geforce 6200 (agp)

Even I am getting frustrated. Please help me.

There is definitely some hardware issue. Since, you have installed the latest version of display adapters, still having the problem, it means that there is some problem with the display circuits on the motherboard. So better to check by changing your motherboard. I am sure that another motherboard will work.
