In wireless connection, there is a technique known as Auto switch, it is used to auto connect the connection if it drops. Which will disable the wireless card when you connected through the LAN. And if this is not connected it will again reconnect the network by disabling the LAN connection. It will ensures that you are using a fastest connection. It used to reduce the redundancy of the network.

    Hello,
I replaced NETGEAR router with the new one (Belkin N1 wireless). The number of the router is F5D8231-4. There is a problem in my old router, regarding the low rate of network speed strength. And the problem with my new router is it drops the connection continuously. I feeling so sad after investing a huge amount for the new router, and it is not properly working. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

I also had a similar issue with my network router. It also drops the connection from the last couple of days. Sometimes gives me 2 to 3 hour back up without no problem and sometimes it drops in every 2 minute. I check the entire cable, but found nothing. I also don’t install any new software in my computer. Any suggestion to how can I fix this one.
