    Windows Server 2008 - password has to meet the security policy standards

    I have installed Win 2008 server and promoted the machine to be the domain controller. On setting up users i get the message that the password has to meet the security policy standards....complexity. Now am trying to disable the same but the tab is grey meaning that i cannot disable the same. How do i go about this since am logged in as the administrator. It is a real hussle considering the fact that my users are not savy. Initially i was using server 2003 and i was able to change with no hussles at all.

    Should be situated on the domain controller under administrative tools >> domain security policy >> security settings >> account policies >> password policies >> password must meet complexity requirements. Then double-click on "Password must meet complexity requirements" and select disabled. Just check the following image :
