Windows 7 Blue Screen STOP: 0x000000D1 AGUx64.sys

I have an Acer Aspire X1300. I have been getting this blue screen quite a few times. I think it might be my wireless adaptor, a D-Link WUA-2340 Rangebooster G USB 2.0 Adapter, because when I touch after the blue screen it is really hot! I am just wondering if anybody can help. Thanks.

I just checked Device Manager and it is my wireless adapter's driver. I am using the official driver for the wireless adapter. So, what should I do now? Thanks.

If you are so sure about your wireless adapter then why don't you try to remove or uninstall it from your computer and then see if you have any bluescreen. But first try to install the latest driver for your wireless adapter to make sure the buggy driver is not causing Windows to crash.

I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the wireless adapter. I have the latest driver and AGUx64.sys is the driver my wireless adapter is using.

These symptoms occur when the computer is under a heavy load. For example, you may experience these symptoms when you copy large files from a remote share when the server is under a heavy load. This problem occurs when a browser announcement frame is incorrectly processed by the server message block (SMB) redirector. The SMB redirector tries to run code that is paged out and that cannot be paged in at the current interrupt request (IRQ) level.

This behavior may occur if either of the following conditions exist:

- One or more of the random access memory (RAM) modules that are installed in your computer are faulty, or the memory modules are not compatible with the chip set on your computer mainboard.
- The Page file that is used by the Virtual Memory Manager may be damaged.

To resolve this issue:

1. Make sure that the memory modules in your computer are compatible with the chip set on your computer mainboard. For information about how to do so, view the documentation that is included with your computer, or contact you computer manufacturer.

2. Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

3. Click the Advanced tab.

4. Under Performance, click Settings.

5. Click the Advanced tab.

6. Under Virtual Memory, click Change.

7. Click No paging file. Click OK, click OK, and then click OK.

8. Restart your computer.
