I am planning to buy Intel processor i7-870 and DQ57TM m/b
i wanna know whether VMware ESX is installable on this architecture

Also please anyone send me the BIOS snapshot of this Motherboard please ? (virtualisation setting )

I did a little research and came up with this link, http://www.vmware.com/resources/comp...ity/search.php that I found. It almost looks like you need a processor of xeon type in the intel branding. Basically any processor made for servers will probably work for this. I guess you can't cut corners there.
