Sometimes desktop hibernate hangs my desktop computer

I just installed Windows 7 and everything went really well. Very good interface and easy to fill, so far so good except the issue of hibernation. I used to have XP and each time he left the note back from hibernation and hibernation that never had a problem, the pc was wrong. I have the same problem with a Dell Latitude e6400. Can not switch to standby mode or to hibernate mode. The screen is all black with a blue stripe at the top, everything turns off (WiFi, Bluetooth, hard drive) but the computer stays on, that I can not force him to go out . please help me out so that i can get rid of this problem.

The following steps will help you to get this problem resolved.

1. Goto "Start", type in "DEVMGMT.MSC" in the run box and press OK. Simply select Allow if the User Account Control window is prompted.
2. Expand Sound and the go to video and game controllers.
3. Click "Properties" after right clicking on your sound card.
4. Go to the driver tab and select disable selected device then click OK.
