Backup error 0x80780119 in Windows 7

I newly installed windows 7 ultimate RTM 64 bit on Hitachi 80G SATA hard drive, after install I create an system image to DVD for further backup purpose if needed. Currently there is no problem. Last few days back I replaced my hard disc into Seagate 320G HD and stored the image from DVD to the hard drive. Now I install Photoshop and need something, and tried to make a system image to external hard drive or dvd and see some error that "There is not enough disk space to create the volum shadow copy on storage location. Minimum requirement for Volumes less than 500 megabytes, the minimum is 50 megabyte of free space. for voulimes more than 500 megabytes, the minimum is 320 megabytes of free space. Recommended at least 1 gigabytes free of disk space on each volumes if volumes size is more than 1 gigabytes (0x80780119)". The minimum disk space required is available. I unplug all device just use only seagate 320GB and My external hard drive has 400G space.

can any one please help me.....

I read you post which indicates that there is not enough disk space available for doing a system image backup into your computer. The idea that I have regarding windows 7 is that this operating system has 100MB system partition that setup during the installation and would like to suggest you to check your disk usage in disk management and make sure that all the partitioned are having enough space for back up.

I had an also that type of problem. If there is only one partition in your system to save the system files, then there will be a problem fro backup. At that time we shrink the partition in disk management, and then do again to test the issue. Also may this an problem in system image backup configuration or incorrect registry, for that I suggest you to follow the bellow process to overcome for your problem:Run “vssadmin list writers” for checking errors. Register the bellow mention "dll" files

You can also try to back up your whole image into the local disc to test this issue. But remember do not back up the image file in to the external hard drive or in to the DVD directly. If you transfer the system image in to local disk then if you needed it later then you can easily copy the system image in to the internal hard disk or DVD.

According to your post, you are using 64bit windows 7. This problem may occur fro registry related "dll" files. So I am giving you solution if this problem is there for executing some commands, and then register the "dll" files:
For Windows 7 64bit replace c:\windows\system32 with c:\windows\SysWOW64 and execute the following command:

    regsvr32 ole32.dll
    regsvr32 vss_ps.dll
    regsvr32 es.dll
    regsvr32 stdprov.dll
    regsvr32 msxml3.dll
    regsvr32 msxml.dll
    regsvr32 msxml4.dll
