    Windows 7 dual boot loader problem

    Hello,
    I have set my laptop with Windows 7 Professional and Fedora 11 as a dual boot. However, I now have a problem with the boot loader. At the start I get the error message "failed to set xfermode. I have searched for the error and tried the solution but unfortunately not worked. I put the BugReport times, so maybe someone can start something. Fedora has somehow also quite a problem with Wlan and Firefox etc.. Firefox can start up it takes years and the Wlan shows indeed that it is connected. Please help me out with this. Thank you for your help in advance.

    Than you for the reply, can only for understanding how, for example, affect the power management the boot process or the installation? I am assuming that the "irqpoll", to / boot / grub / menu.lst in the "boot line insert" must be right. Is this correct? If I am wrong some where then please correct me with the same.

    This is a simple shell script try this

    Code:
    default = 0
    timeout = 5
    title Fedora (fc11.x86_64)
       root (hd0, 0)
       kernel / vmlinuz-2.6. root = UUID-fc11.x86_64 = 2d541118f-9dfgd-49d1-ba36-64sdfg2453gc73 vga = 791 irqpoll
    Of course, you have other boot options in it (quite so). But are deactivated for me, because I want to see the boot messages. Or you give it the boot with a test. When Grub kernel select press, e, choose 2nd line, press e, type irqpoll, press enter, press b. For this you have to but in your grub.conf Change the timeout = 0 timeout = 10, otherwise you see the boot menu is not displayed.

    If you install from the DVD, you can embed in the installation of the update repository. Then should the current kernel 64.fc11. Network connection work is important. The Grub-password should then appear, if you want the boot entry change during boot.
