Windows 7 - required RAM

Hi,

I am wanting to uninstall my windows vista and install windows 7. My laptop has 1GB RAM.

Would be great to know if windows 7 will actually speed up my system or do i have to anyways add more RAM to my laptop.

Three years after the launch of Windows Vista, Microsoft returned with a new version of its operating system, a version presented as major and called Windows 7. The minimum requirement to run Windows 7 is 1GB ram and it works smooth on that. Just install the same. If you have a good video memory then your system will work much smoother.
