Will office 2003 work in windows 7

I have the desktop PC and i am using windows 7 operating system. In the windows 7 ms office 2007 already installed.I want to copy Ms office 2007 from CD. In the pack has two CD's, service pack 2 and academics . I have no any idea that ms office 2003 work with windows 7 or not. So i does not want any wrong things with my PC. Can anyone provide me the right solution

There is a solution for it that Office 2003 program will work with windows 7 or there is a problem with running in windows 7. You can try configure compatibility setting. For this You perform following things..

With windows 7 you can use msoffice 2003. For the setup work on this way...
1. Open the Office 2003 CD.
2. Search the set up. exe.
3. Run that.
4. After finishing the process close the cd.
Open the ms office 2003. You can use this.

To overcome this problem first you uninstall the office 2007. For this the process is:

1. Click on Start.
2. Go into Control Panel.
3. Go into Programs and Features.
4. Search for all the Microsoft Office applications.
5. Uninstall the Microsoft Office application.

After this you can install the office 2003.

You can not install the old version of Office on your computer first. First insert CD drive. There is a drop down menu to select the proper drive. After the ownership of the old version is verified, take out the disk for the old version, put the 2003 install disk back in and away you go. But I think the 0ffice 2003 is not so good as office 2007.
