Well there the files that you are able to delete that is known as windows XP mode.vsv. This file can be found at the location of "C:\Users\[User ID]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Virtual PC\Virtual Machines\". According to me this will definitely allow your virtual machine for starting again. If you have any other problem then let me know about it.

Thank you for the reply that you have given, for your information I was able to delete the file and then just reconfigured the system again. I am trying to run the scan disk that is also in the XP mode. Now there is the thing that is causing the problem first for all. Can you provide a better solution for the problem that I am facing. I will be waiting for your related reply.

As far as I know this hibernation is part that is causing the problem and for this I need small question. The thing is that I am trying avoiding re-installing the virtual machine. If possible then let me know what will happen if we delete these files. I am asking this because in any case I have to get the fresh copy for the place prior to attempting to reboot.

There are dozens of resources and benchmark on the web that demonstrate that virtualization results in an average loss of 10-15% performance. To make my own mind, I downloaded the excellent benchmark tool Performance Test (feel free to try and publish your results, especially in virtualized mode). The index PassMark Performance Test is recognized worldwide for completeness. Everything is tested, the video memory via the CPU and disk.

While the performance of Vmlite Awards are announced VirtualBox, I was rather disappointed. Indeed the mode under Windows XP 7 is significant but not yet to boot a virtual machine with XP installed Guest. To the left is a copy of Virtual Box with management VHD format (SVC) and more. Note that Vmlite uses the open source version of Virtual Box, do not try to install the two tools at the same time, it works but the respective configuration files tangled brushes.

Re: XP Mode/Virtual Machine won't open is hibernating

Clearly, I am glad I bought a racing machine to better develop virtualized mode. In the end, I realize that this has no influence, quite the contrary. From a technical standpoint, I have quite a bit of trouble understanding the thing. Yet I have tried all possible combinations (with or without vtx, with and without 2D/3D acceleration, etc). Each time, the figures vary from 2 or 3% from one observation; the Quad Core loses 50% of its road performance when running in a virtual machine.
