If you have this configuration then you are to able install Snow Leopard on Intel Pentium D. Firstly, you will need to download it from the internet. It should be ISO file and burning of it on the reg DVD .There is a site which is named by leohazard.com has get 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel/Amd sse2-sse3 snow leopard. You have to choose the kernel and its legacy 10.2.0 and install on your computer 10.6.2. To get your chipset details you have to go on mobo site. All the information which is available on the particular site (mobo) collects them like LAN network, audio, it is written down. Finally, choose customize to install. Thats it !!

If there is any problem to install Snow Leopard on your PC, we can troubleshoot the computer. There are some basic troubleshooting steps that is mentioned below:

If you are waiting for DSMOS, then you should simply delete the kext. But you should have keep FakeSMC kext. If in your computer BIOS,LAN is not enabled then reboot the PC .Every PC has its own IDEs. So your laptop has also an IDE drive. You install AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext. So that IDE can work in Snow Leopard. It should be navigate through /System/Library/Extensions. You can delete IOATAFamily.kext . You have to install on your SATA drives to confirm. It is set to AHCI in spite of IDE.
