    Windows 7 backup error "shadow copy could not be created"

    I am having one issue with which i need to resolve. Actually i am trying to take the back of my computer into the USB external drive but whenever i am trying to do the same i am not getting it work because it is throwing error:
    Code:
    A shadow copy could not be created. Please check "VSS" and "SPP" application event logs for more information. The specified object was not found. Error code: 0x81000019
    Hope to get the solution from here.

    I have gone through the detail of yours and let me tell you that you have to take the below given which will resolve the issue of yours. So just follow the same and see whether it is working or not.
    • Click on Start
    • Right click on computer
    • Then click Properties
    • Click on System Protection
    • Click on D drive
    • Click Configure
    • Click delete all restore points

    It can be possible that the partition of the drives of your system might got corrupted and that is why not performing the back up on the external drive. I will advise you to run the diskclean which will run on the partition of your drive and will find the corruption on the same and correct the same. So trey this out and work with the same.

    If your problem is not resolve then i think that there might be possibility that the Volume Shadow Copy service and SPP services is not active. So activate the same and might be you are able to get it work. just follow the same.

    • Click on Start
    • Click on Control Panel
    • Click on Administrative Tools
    • Click on System and Maintenance
    • Click on Double-click Services.
    • Enable the SPP service
    • Enable Volume Shadow Copy service
    • Click the Startup type list
    • Click Automatic
    • Click Apply.
    • Click Start Under Service status

    Even i am having some advise which i think can help you to get rid of the issue which you are going through so if you can then try the below given things and see whether it is working for you not. I hope this will work for you.
    • Click on Start
    • Go to the Computer
    • Right click on Computer
    • Select Manage
    • 2. Select Storage
    • Then to Disk management
    • Verify the System Reserved partition of 100 MB
    • Right click on volume
    • Select Properties.
    • View used and free space
