WEI - The Windows Experience Index for your system could not be computed

I had upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 long time before. I found The Windows Experience Index whcih gives you an averate of the score of your system. It is not working in the system. I had recenlty insatlled a system tweaker tool which has deleted some of my files. What is WEI and how to use that. What if I have a good score showign up in the properties of my computer.

It gives your sysetm a score on the basis of several tests which are concerned with the processor, hard drive, memory and graphics card. Each test returns a score, usually located between 1 and 6, but the WIE is the lowest score obtained from the tests, not the average. If the same is not working then you must run a system restore option and then check back the same. Run Windows update.

Windows Experience Index measures the ability of the hardware and software configuration of your computer and expressed as a figure called the base score. A higher base score generally indicates that your computer will perform better and be faster, especially when performing advanced tasks that request many resources, including a computer base score is lower.

It is just not needed. Having the same note with Vista is normal. The index is calculated in the same way on the 2. The only thing is that on 7, the maximum is delayed due to technological change. The base score does not correspond to the average of the combined subscores. This base score you can acquire programs and other software compatible with your computer with confidence.

The Windows Experience Index in Windows 7 (Windows Experience Index) has been revised in line with technological advances witnessed in the field of information technology since the introduction of this tool for assessing performance (benchmark) of Windows Vista on a machine. It might be due to some corrupt file that it is not running. Run a Windows update for that and then check back again.

Windows 7 scores now range from 1.0 to 7.9, and not 1.0 to 5.9 as is the case with Windows Vista. The quotation is in fact identical, the score may simply climb 2 points in Windows 7 with the most powerful machines. Thus a machine that scored 4.2 on Vista will get roughly the same as Seven. It gives you information on the programs that you are using whether they are suitable for your system or not.

According to Microsoft's recommendations, a gaming machine to score between 6.0 and 6.9 should be able to see 40-50 fps in 1280 x 1024 in most DirectX 10 games. Scores greater than or equal to 7.0 for their part can display video games more fluid and detailed and make editing HD video. The evaluation criteria have not changed overall, with the exception of those storage media, which are now more comprehensive and demanding. This explains why some users on Windows 7 score lower than Windows Vista, since it is the smallest of the five scores is used.
