trouble launching my web cam through meebo (AIM)

Hello, I have a windows xp system pack 3, 2002, and I ussually get an error message when I am in Meebo while trying to launch my webcam into aim... The message is:

SysFader: iexplore.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x0b4c1934" referenced memory at "0x0000003e". The memory could not be "read".

    click cancel to debug

    click ok to terminate

how can I fix this error?

why is this error not allowing me to launch my web cam?

this also happens when I use other web clients like safari, and mozila firefox.

    thanks.

I think the error is related to the internet explorer version of the browser that you are using. You will have to turn off the "enable visual styles in buttons and controls" option by going into tools >> internet options >> advanced. You may have also have to turn off the page transitions and 3rd party extensions options as well. Report back again afterwards.

You have to install the flash player or directX for this purpose. If you install this then your web cam will active on meebo.

Well I went to Internet options and follow every instruction that you have given me and the same thing keeps on happening... I have the latest version of flash player, shock wave, and directx, and I have the same problem...

I will assume that you have already understand that a person must be invited to view your web cam, right? So, that being covered, I suggest you click "Start" > "Control Panel", scroll down to "Sound and Audio Devices", click there and go through the testing process to make sure you're settings are correct. If nothing else, you'll know where your problem is not.
