How to do a 5day reset on a presario CQ60 laptop

Some time in the last 5days my laptop was infected with what seems to be either several virus', or one very very annoying on with several different functions. Normally this would not be a problem, but seeing as my computer BlueScreens whenever i try to run my anti-virus for any length of time it is becoming very difficult to be rid of. I do not want to do a full reset, slicking everything, just the last week. If i start up the factory reset, is there a way while i am running it, to choose a date to reset the computer back to? I figure even if the virus is still there, it wasn't active so I should be able to run the anti-virus to get rid of it. I know this can be done, as my roommate did it for me about a year ago, but I am unsure how to go about this myself.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

I think that you can restore the laptop if you have enabled the restore point in your computer, but if it was disabled then you cannot do it perhaps and therefore will have to do a complete format. Have you checked the notebook's
