Error 80048051

I am using a Dell laptop which is installed with windows XP operating system. I am facing some problem to login in my computer. When I try to login an error message is displayed “error 80048051”. I have tried everything to solve the problem but I cannot able to solve. Please help me to solve my critical problem as soon as possible.

You have to disable compatibility mode for Visual themes

• First Click Start button.
• Then Browse to the folder C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger.
• Now do the right-click the file msnmsgr.exe, and select Properties.
• Toggle to the Compatibility tab.
• Now uncheck the checkbox at “Disable visual themes”.
• Now you have to Click OK.
• Retry to sign in to Messenger.
