Need to edit animated GIF

I have taken one gif file from my friend and I want to edit it. I have Macbook pro which has Mac os x installed in it. I don't know how to edit that gif image. I have Seashore, but I unable to edit it. I really need to edit animated GIF. Is there any application through which I can edit that image. Please help me.
