HP DeskJet 6940 won't load on Windows 7

I am using Windows 7 operating system with Corei7 processor and 4 GB RAM. The situation that I am facing is that HP DeskJet 6940 won't load on Windows 7. The installation disc of HP DeskJet 6940 is not being accepted by the operating system. I am not able to understand why this is happening, so please help me with all possible solutions that will help to get rid of this situation.

If the HP DeskJet 6940 won't load on Windows 7, then this is clearly happening because of an incompatibility issue. There may be conflicts between the printer and the Windows 7 operating system. So, you will have to make sure if this printer is compatible with Windows 7 or not. Contact the officials for the same and mention about this problem and they will tell if if this is an incompatibility problem or not.

According to me, the HP DeskJet 6940 won't load on Windows 7 problem is being caused because the particular disc may be supported by Windows XP or Windows Vista only. I am not quite sure if there is such a disc for the Windows 7 operating system. If not, you will have to wait for the same to be released. As mentioned in the above posts, the officials will be able to give more information about this problem.

Hello there, there has been no softwares released by HP for the Windows 7 operating system and this is the same reason why HP DeskJet 6940 won't load on Windows 7. Because of such problems, it is always recommended that Windows 7 must not be installed. It is better to use Windows Vista as it has same features as Windows 7. I wish you all the best.

The disc for the HP DeskJet 6940 can be used with Windows 7. You just have to find the compatibility tool for this particular printer and install it before you try to do the installation from the HP disc. This is because the required compatibility settings will be done with its help. So, the problems that you are facing will be eradicated with the help of this technique.
