ubuntu wont start after applying patches

I am having the Toshiba laptop and I am using ubuntu 9.10 on it. I having some issue with this operating system. Before few days I applied some patches to this ubuntu 9.10, but problem is that it not starting. I don't know what damage done to this operating system when I applied patch. If you have any solution over this issue, then please don't hesitate to let me know that. your any help will greatly appreciated.

Mostly this type of issue occurs when you don't install the operating system properly. I think same thing happened with you also, So I suggest you to reinstall your ubuntu operating system. Then you can try to apply patches in the way to see if you still getting same issue or not. Hopefully this will definitely solve your ubuntu issue.

According to me there are many factors which can cause issue to your operating system. One of them is that, the patch that you applied to your ubuntu operating system is might have some fault. There also might chances that the operating system may have some loopholes which cause is issue. But I think it's very difficult to predict the exact behind this problem.

I was also getting the same issue my system. I also using the ubuntu operating system. At then time I took the help of my computer engineer friend, he told that your computer system is having some hardware issue which might be related to hard disk issue. It is also possible that your system also comprises the same issue as I had.

It seems that your computer system is infected by virus. I think you have not installed any antivirus application of your system. So I suggest you to install any updated antivirus on your system and then do the completed virus scan of your computer system. I also had same problem and I used the same trick. So please try out this solution.
