Vuze update problems

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Ubuntu karmic operating system. The problem is that I am not able to update the Vuze 4.3 application under the same. I have no idea why is this happening? Please help me out so that I can make the issue to be sorted. I hope to get the solution well. Thank you.

The problem may be with the application that you have installed to the system. It may be that the application is not able to work well. Thee may be some bugs appended and hence this is the reason it is not able to get work well. So in order to get the issue to be sorted you need to check out for the good fresh copy of the application. That may help you out well.

Perform a reinstall method. This may then let the application to work well and then you may be able to update the application as well. As the bug been appended to it the re-installation process may remove the bug that is been associated also as it is been causing the problem remove the installed one and then install the fresh new copy. Follow the below steps that is been given you may get the idea for making things to work out well.

• Before you install the apication it is essential that no ubuntu package must be installed
  sudo apt-get remove azureus
• You need to download the Vuze application from the official site.
• Then we need to make sure the Java Runtime Environment is installed
  sudo apt-get remove azureus
• Afterwards, extract the program to /opt
  sudo tar -xvjf Vuze_*.tar.bz2 -C /opt/

The problem could well been with the version of the operating system that you use. It may be that 64bit version application not able to cope well with the same. So you need to check out and install the application for the 64bit version or to the type of the same that it is capable of. This my then help you to get the things work out well. So look out.
