How to create additional DC Win 2003

hi,

we have current windows 2003 r2 as DC and we want make windows 2008 std as additional dc. It is possiable if yes than how?

It is possible by creating or installing a new server to te DCPROMO and then making the same as new DC. You can see the Help and Support section for further details. after createing you will not need to create or replicate the users and other user profiles. This will be done automatically. Usually the user profiles lies on once location till you are using a Distributed File System. This need to replicate them on multiple server which is thus accessed by single name.
