Windows 7 cannot access shared folders

You need to access the "Network and Sharing Center" set, the Windows firewall shut down. Although the risk of doing so would be unsafe, but in order to achieve different System Mutual visits, only had to do was. Close the Windows Firewall, the next step is to enter the firewall settings interface on the left of the "Advanced Settings" in the "Inbound Rules" and "Outbound Rules" modified. In these two rules, respectively, find the "File and Printer Sharing" option, and all of its options set to "Allow all connection". Check and reply.

Windows 7 cannot access shared folders

The first step to select the shared folder, right click select "Properties" in the "Sharing" option, Select "Advanced Sharing" and the "Share this folder" before the hook marked, then the "permissions" in turn click on the "Add" > "Advanced" > "Find." Then in the search results, select "Everyone" and "Guest" and confirm. Basically, these steps can be resolved through 99% of the XP can not access Windows7. The shared folder, of course, does not rule out the above method is still an access exception. This proposal can be temporarily closed to install additional third-party antivirus software or network firewall, network firewalls to prevent access other obstruction. All the best.

If you have to use Windows 7 and want to share files with xp I suggest buying an external HD Buy A 2.5 version it use,s usb power ,then u can swap file,s via the HD !
the second solution is to set up A LAN Hardrive server, that is only if you need it on all the time!
