Problem of Win7 TRIM SSD issue

    Hello guys,
I have discovered that SSDs with TRIM enabled firmware will not boot into Windows 7, and the repair utility cannot find a solution to the problem. Re: Problem of Win7 TRIM SSD issue

SSDs tend to Be very fast for random reads. Most SSDs HDDs inside thoroughly Trounce Traditionally Because The mechanical work required to position a rotating disk head isn't required. As a result, the Better SSDs can Performer 4 KB random reads Almost 100 times faster Than the drawings can be downloaded HDD. Sequential read and write operations ranks Between quite good to superb. Because flash chips can Be configured in parallel and data spread Across the chips, today's Better SSDs can read sequentially rats at Greater Than 200 MB / sec, which is closed to double the 7200 RPM drives spleen Many can deliver.

Most flash SSDs are comprised of cells (Either SLC or MLC ). It is Possible to build SSDs out of DRAMs. These can Be Extremely fast, goal Also very Costly and power hungry. Since thesis are Relatively rare, we'll focus discussion o Much More popular is the NAND flash based SSDs. Future SSDs May Take Advantage of nonvolatile memory technologies Other Than Flash. A flash cell is really a trap, a trap for electrons and electrons do not like to Be trapped. Consider this, if 100 Placing electrons in a flash cell constitutive a bit value of 0, and the means clustering Fewer 1 value is either 'the logic controller May Have to Consider 80 to 120 as the acceptable range for a bit value of 0. A Range is Necessary Because Some electrons escape the trap May, others May Fall Into the Trap When Attempting to fill nearby cells, etc

Have you checked to see if XP or Vista install media can see the ZIF SSD? This would help determine whether it is problem with your hardware and possibly a BIOS setting. There are a lot of problems with the SSD and the trim function in Windows 7. Flash chips tends to Be Organized in complex arrangements have SUCH blocks, dies, flat and packages. The size, arrangement, parallelism, wear, and transfer speed interconnects selected from a lot of Which can and do vary greatly.

Windows 7 requests the Trim operation for more Than Just file delete operations. The Trim is operator with Fully Integrated Volume-and partition-level commands like Format and Delete, with file system commands Relating to truncate and compression and With The System Restore feature. Windows 7 will disable disk defragmentation system SSD drives. Because SSDs Perform Extremely well be random read operations, defragmenting files isn't helpful enough to warrant the added disk defragmentation Produces writing.

OCZ Technology has released a small utility that can tweak the config its Windows XP, Vista, 2000 and Seven. Windows uses your hard drive and SSD at its best relieve to your Windows. Note the button "Auto Tweak Settings" who will do basic optimizations in a single click. The automatic scheduling of defragmentation Will we exclude partitions Devices That Themselves have declared SSDs. Additionally, if the system disk random read performance selected from a lot Has above-the threshold of 8 MB / sec, too Then It Will Be Excluded.
