Windows 7 fails to go into safe mode Stops at classpnp.sys

Recently i have installed a tiny little application after checking it i found that this is not useful and i tried to uninstall it but was not allowed to uninstall it. So i though t of getting this remove in the safe mode so i rebooted the machine and then pressed F8 on my system which seemed to be working but after few seconds safe mode stopped at classpnp.sys

Sounds like your windows Operating system has been corrupted so i would suggest you to repair your windows using the recovery cd. Insert the recovery cd in to your windows and then simply press R button when the Blue welcome screen appears. This will start the system repair wizard after this wizard finishes the system will boot in safe mode successfully.

It appears as the application which you are trying to install is a malicious one and this application is the culprit behind this problem so it would be better if you try to remove it using windows uninstaller utility. You can download the windows uninstaller utility from the microsoft official website for free.

Sometimes if your system becomes infected you will not be allowed to boot in to the safe mode and to overcome this situation you need to install a proper and reliable application which will remove the virus from your system which is causing this error. I would recommend you to install the eScan antivirus

The below listed steps will definitely help you to solve this error so try following it.
    1. Reboot the system and try to start the Windows Recovery mode.
    2. Now open the command prompt ans type there "rename c:\windows\system32\drivers\classpnp.sys classpnp.old" Wthout the double quotes.
