Hello, if you want to make use of the safe mode then it is needed to make use of the F8 key at the time of your System start. If you make use of it, then you will simply able to get the solution for your problem. And you will move into the safe mode. So, simply make use of the F8 key and get into the Safe mode. You just need to select the option of the safe mode then.

If after several attempts you are not able to get the Windows 2000 or Windows XP Safe Mode as your computer is having Windows operating system by using the F8 key:
    Windows Advanced Options Menu
    Please select an option:

    Safe Mode
    Safe Mode with Networking
    Safe Mode with Command Prompt

    Enable Boot Logging
    Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
    Debugging Mode

    Start Windows Normally
    Reboot
    Return to OS Choices Menu

Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice.
