Need Driver for Compaq Presario CQ40-310AU for windows 7

Hi there, I using Compaq Presario CQ40-310AU Notebook which originally installed with windows XP operating system. But now I replaced that operating system with the new windows 7. But there is a problem with it. The driver cd which I was get with it, now that driver cd is not working with windows 7 operating system. Now I want all the driver of this laptop to make it work properly, please help me.

First you have to confirm that windows 7 is compatible with it other wise you have to install windows xp again. There are the minimum system requirements for windows 7.

If the drivers which are provided with your laptop are not working with windows 7. Then you can easily download the driver of laptop from it official website. You have to download it video card driver, audio driver, touch pad driver, and etc. But you have to choose it wisely. If you can able to install the proper driver then your laptop may not going to work properly.

The provided driver with your laptop is not working with your laptop because may be it is not compatible with windows 7 or it may cause due to problem in widows 7 during windows 7. You can try that driver aging by reinstalling windows 7 again. And try to install this given drivers with your laptop. You install windows 7 by using some other CD. Try it, this may solve your problem.

Hi everyone, I am also having the same problem and the solution which you are given is very useful to me. But now I am facing some other problem with my laptop. When play video game on my laptop then game start lagging but when I am using windows vista then game were working properly. I want to know why this problem is occurs.
