Need memory solution for windows Vista

    Hi all,

I have windows Vista in my PC. My PC is equipped with high-capacity memory, with a view to obtain the ideal system performance, 1G, 2G or even more memory, PC has been very common. However, contrary to many friends surprise is that, even if the Windows system, not just Windows Vista also includes Windows 2000/XP/2003, with 2GB or more memory, Windows Vista prompts sometimes encounter "out of memory" warning ,Windows is equipped with such a large memory is a waste of up gradation. can anybody suggest me how to manage memory in windows vista. Thanks in advance.

The solution is simple, that is the default user handle and GDI is revised to handle a larger number of values. To improve the default Windows default user handle and GDI handle the number. In the Windows Vista Start menu search box, type "regedit", press Enter; Registry Editor will trigger a UAC prompt the pop-up window, click to confirm continue; When prompted by Windows Vista "Out of memory" describes the method, first the size of the desktop heap area increased from the default 3072KB to check whether the problem is resolved.

You need to try the following steps; Locate the following registry branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Windows. As can be seen in the right window called "GDIProcessHandleQuota" and "USERProcessHandleQuota" registry entries; GDIProcessHandleQuota entry is set to the number of GDI handle, the default value is 2710 (16 hex) / 10000 (10 decimal), the value of the allowed range of 256 -16384, be adjusted to a value greater than the default 10000. If your system is configured with 2G or more, may be set to the maximum allowed 16384 (10 decimal). All the best.

USERProcessHandleQuota entry is set to handle the number of users, the default value is the same for 2710 (16 hex) / 10000 (10 decimal), the value of the allowed range of 200 ~ 18000, be adjusted to more value. Similarly, for a 2GB or more of physical memory system, may wish to directly set the number of users to handle a maximum of 18000 (10 decimal); Needs to be emphasized that, in changing "GDIProcessHandleQuota" and "USERProcessHandleQuota" value, not to exceed the accepted upper limit, or will cause Windows can not work or run unstable. All the best.

In fact, in the Windows NT family of systems, in addition to desktop heap area restrictions, the default user handle (User Handle) and GDI handles (GDI Handle) limit is also one of the reasons lead to the failure, in particular, taking into account prior to generally had less physical memory system, the objective situation, the default user handle and the number of GDI handles to prevent the same time, open up more and become a Windows program / window, another main reason. Check and reply.

When prompted in Windows Vista "out of memory", we introduced this happens mostly because the default Desktop Heap intervals were jammed due to, and gives the desktop heap size from the default 3072KB increase the need for numerical solution. However, many steps to be adjusted in accordance with a friend and found there is still no fundamental solution to this problem. Al the best.
