    Practical applications of windows vista

    Thanks for helpful replies; if possible can you give details related to the practical application of windows vista. Such as how to turn off the UAC, how to shutdown system backup and restore, how do I turn off the computer into hibernation, how do I cancel the default share for each boot? These are some question for which I need to know the answers. Thanks in advance for related replies.

    For turning off the UAC you have to do this.
    Control Panel → User Accounts User Account Control turned on or off → out the use of User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer.
    And for shutting down the system backup and restore you have to do this
    → Control Panel → Backup and Restore Center to create restore points or more in the system protection settings → → → cancel automatic restore points on selected disk restore points.

    If you want to turn off the computer into hibernation you have to follow procedure given below.
    Right → Personalized → desktop screen saver changes to power settings → → → change the computer's sleep time so that the computer set to never sleep.
    If you want to cancel the default share for each boot you have to follow procedure given below.
    First of all you have to import the registry file mentioned below after that restart the pc (Keep in mind to turn off UAC).
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesLanmanserverParameters]
    AutoShareWks = dword00000000
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlLsa]
    restrictanonymous = dword00000001
