Hi, guys, n00b here. My Dell Studio xps 8000 comes preloaded with Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium. It's running an I5-750 Intel quad core at 2.66 mHz per core. My hard drive is a SATA 500GB internal.
My question is this: With this hardware configuration, I would like to create a dual-boot system running Windows 7 and Windows XP Home (32-bit). I need to know whether this is possible or whether my quad-core machine is too advanced for XP, so that some of its components might not be recognized by XP. Not to mention, it's a Dell . . .
I'd really appreciate your help on this. Thanks in advance!
