    ProtectStar Data Shredder fails to start in Windows 7

    Hello everyone, the best solution that can be used for the secure deletion of sensitive data is ProtectStar Data Shredder. This has been recommended to be by my friends. So, I installed it in my system. But, the problem is that ProtectStar Data Shredder fails to start in Windows 7. I need to know the operating systems that it supports. I am awaiting for suitable replies and solutions that can be used in this problem.

    • Windows Vista Enterprise
    • Windows Vista Enterprise x64
    • Windows Vista Home Basic
    • Windows Vista Home Basic x64
    • Windows Vista Home Premium
    • Windows Vista Home Premium x64
    • Windows Vista Starter
    • Windows Vista Ultimate
    • Windows Vista Ultimate x64

    There are no additional requirements to run this software in the system. So, ProtectStar Data Shredder fails to start in Windows 7 because the operating system that you are using is not supported by this software.

    If ProtectStar Data Shredder fails to start in Windows 7, then you try running it by setting the operating system in the compatibility mode. You will have to let the system to detect the problems that the software is having with the operating system. It is also possible to do this setting by yourself. The incompatibility issues of the applications and softwares in Windows 7 are being solved by the developers by releasing the new versions.
