Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start

Luxand Blink is a very awesome software that I was using in my system, that helped me to login into the system without doing anything. I just needed to look into the webcam and that was the password of my system. This was working fine, when I was using Windows Vista operating system. But, now I have upgraded to Windows 7. So, Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start. What can I do in this situation? Kindly reply.

Re: Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start

Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start because the software must not be compatible with the operating system. If you want to check if this software is compatible or not, then you will have to run the hardware and software evaluation wizard in your system. If this particular software is listed among the incompatibilities of the system, then there are many alternatives available in the market.

Re: Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start

The operating systems supported by Luxand Blink are given below:
  • Windows 95
  • Windows 98
  • Windows ME
  • Windows NT 3.x
  • Windows NT 4.x
  • Windows 2000
  • Windows 2003
  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista Business
  • Windows Vista Business x64
  • Windows Vista Enterprise
  • Windows Vista Enterprise x64
  • Windows Vista Home Basic
  • Windows Vista Home Basic x64
  • Windows Vista Home Premium
  • Windows Vista Home Premium x64
  • Windows Vista Starter
  • Windows Vista Ultimate
  • Windows Vista Ultimate x64
As the operating systems that are shown above does not show that Windows 7 is supported, this is the reason why Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start.

Re: Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start

If Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start, then you can set the operating system in the compatibility mode when this application runs in the system. You will have to use the troubleshoot compatibility and specify the problems that you are finding when this application runs. It is also possible to let the system to find out the errors that it is having when it runs in Windows 7. This will solve the problem.

Re: Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start

Hello there, this is a security feature why Windows 7 does not allow Luxand Blink to start. The operating system may be blocking the application or program from being executing. You can use the option of "run as administrator" to get rid of this issue. I can assure you that this will help because I am using this same technique to handle such problems in my system.
