How to install Mac OS without CD ROM?

Hello, I am need to get the solution of the issue that i am getting with my MacBook. I have a MacBook which is now responding very slow and i did not formatted it from last 2 years. The problem is that my CD ROM is not working as and i have tried internet option to eject the tray but that is also not working. So How to install Mac OS without CD ROM? Help me with this issue.

If you are unable to install the MAC OS from the CD ROM and need to format the same then you can use the Target mode from the another computer to install the same. Just connect the target computer with the other computer by the Firewire cable and then start the target computer and press the T until the Firewire icon will not appear, After that your target hard disk will appear on the host computer's desktop. Now the same to the trash and you are done.

I have gone through all the specification you have given me and the quick response of your regarding the installing the MAC OS without CD. But the issue i have not get the thing that you have described me to work and have no idea about the target disk mode. So if you will give me stepwise description of the Target Disk mode then i will perform the same.

To achieve the target disk mode just follow the given description properly that will help you out for the same that you are looking for.

• Make sure that the target computer is turned off.
• If you are using an Apple portable computer such as a PowerBook or MacBook as the target computer, plug in its AC power adapter.
• Use a FireWire cable to connect the target computer to a host computer. The host computer can be powered on.
• Start up the target computer and immediately press and hold down The T key until the FireWire icon appears. The hard disk of the target computer should become available to the host computer and will likely appear on desktop. (If the target computer is running Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, you can also open System Preferences, choose Startup Disk, and click Target Disk Mode. Restart the computer and it will start up in Target Disk Mode.)
• When you are finished copying files, locate the target computer's hard disk icon on the desktop of the host computer and drag it to the Trash or choose Eject (or Put Away) from the File menu.
• Press the target computer's power button to turn it off.
• Unplug the FireWire cable.

The Target Disk Mode is the best option to install the mac OS to your MacBook. As i am having the same issue and i have tried the same target disk mode option and i have easily install the Mac OS. This display the disk of target computer to host computer and you can format the disk from the Host computer and install the new OS to target computer. So do the same and help yourself to get rid of the issue.

If you are install the Mac OS then you have to take care of certain aspect for the same. First of all make sure that you have up to date Firmware installed. Remove all the other Fireware device. Connect the two computer only. Do not connect any other Firewire cable or device until the target Disk Mode process is not completed.
