    Reinstall the application

All you need to do is to reinstall the application. This is because it may then hep out to check out for the issue that may be causing the hurdle in working with the system. Go to the control panel option and then to the add/remove program. Then after it is been done you then need to select the desired application that would then remove the same. Restart the system and then install the new copy of the pack. This would then help out.

    Process a clean boot

Make a clean boot process in order to work out with the application with the system properly. This is because there may a issue with the advance features of the operating system that is been the cause makeing the application to respond in such a way.

    1) Click on the start button.
    2) Now type msconfig in the searchbox option.
    3) Under the selective startup tab choose Hide all Microsoft services.
    4) Disable the services.

    Compatibility issue

It could be that the application may not be able to suit the operating system. This is because as you have upgraded the system it is essential that the application that you have installed needs to be upgraded to the advance level that it has. This would then help in making the application to cope up well with the system. So process a clean installation that is format the system and then install the windows operating system lonely and then install the application.

    Compatibility tools installation

It would be better that you install the compatibility tools that would then help in making the application to work out well. Install the tools for Windows Xp or Vista under Windows 7 in order to make the application to support the feature that it will support with the desired operating system. It would then help out in making the things to work out well in your ways. So look out.
