Hi I have exactly the same problems with a dmg adobe CS4 on my iMac 24" I run the dmg file, I receive an error message that says: "Unable to open disk images vecase of No Mountable File Systems."
Could you find the solutions?
Your dmg you downloaded with the Explorer? If so try another browser. If the disk image contains an application directly usable, simply drag the application on your hard drive. After moving the application on your hard drive, or after installing this application, you can "eject" the disk image was mounted on the desktop and throw .Dmg file. This outline of the use of disk images .Dmg disk images when they are supposed to contain an application.
Try using Disk Utility (Applications: Utilities) to open it. Disk images are files and can be corrupted, it is possible that the file may be damaged enough that it can not be opened. It could simply be that the .Dmg is currupt somehow. ie it was not created properly, download has not completed correctly or completely.

Try removing the file and folder
The file
-DisqueDur/System/Library/Extension.kextcache
-DisqueDur/System/Library/Caches/apple.com.kernelcaches
Restart the Mac after running a repair disk permissions with Disk Utility. If the problem persists, it will re-install Mac OS 10, with an Archive and Install, do the updates.
