How to personalize the Windows 7 Starter?

Hello Friends. As i am using the Windows 7 Starter for my netbook and upset with the news that Microsoft have stopped the personalization in the same. Now i want ti personalize the Windows 7 Starter but don't know about How to personalize the Windows 7 Starter? So if there is any one who have enough knowledge about the personalization of the Windows 7 can help with the proper steps. Thanks in advance

As you have heard that the Microsoft have declared about the Windows 7 Starter edition have stop working, there is still another individual ways that will personalize your Windows 7 Starter. You can still change the Sound, Theme, Color scheme of Windows. All you have to to is to make the search of individual in the Start menu and open the each thing individually like if you want to change the sound of the Windows startup and shut down then type the change sound in start menu search and click on Change system sound. Now you can change the same. So in the same manner change then other also.

If you are working on the Starter edition of Windows 7 then you will not get the right click context menu for the Personalize as you are getting in other edition of the Windows 7. So for the change of the any item suppose you need to change the icon of the My computer and Recycle bin then type the icon in the start search and then click on the “Show or hide common icons on the desktop” link. Here you can change and hide any of the Icon that you wish to change. Thats it!!!

i have gone through all the post that you have given me for the help of the Windows 7 starter and i would like to appreciated the help of yours. But still have some problem for the personalization as i am not getting the Mouse pointer look change option in the same. I want to change the look of then cursor but don't know how to do that so help me with the same.

You can change the look of the mouse in the manner as you are doing for other from the start menu search. Just enter the 'Cursor' in the search and press enter key. You will get the list of the cursor management. Click on the “Change how the mouse pointer looks” link and you will be redirected to the pointer tab of mouse properties. Now you can change the pointer look from the pointer tab. Thanks
