    Software may have been corrupt

The problem could be that the application you have installed to the system may have been corrupt. It could be due to the virus attack or some external entity that may have acted upon the same. You need to scan the system first using a powerful antivirus application that may then allow you to detect the threat and thus make the application to work out appropriately. Use Quick heal antivirus application tool.

    Reinstall the application

I would suggest you to reinstall the application. This is because if the the application is been affected by any bug issues then the software may not work properly hence you need to uninstall the application that has been installed and then reinstall the application by using a new copy of installer file. Hence this would remove the bug and repair the files. Check out.

    Perform a clean boot process

You may require to perform a clean boot process that may help out in making the application to work out if there is a compatibility issue. This is possible to happen if the application is not able to support to the operating system.

    1) Click on the start button and then in the search box option type msconfig.
    2) Hit enter.
    3) Under the selective startup tab choose Hide all Microsoft services.
    4) Disable the services.
    5) Restart the system.

    Install the compatibility tools

There is another way to make the application to work out well with the system. It may be that the application would not be able to work out with Windows 7 hence you need to install the compatibility tools for Windows Xp or Vista under Windows 7 that may then help you out in making the things to work out well for you. You can get the compatibility tools from compatibility center.

    Check out on other system

It would be better that you first check out for the application that doe sit work under other system pretty well. This is because there is a possibility that the application may be corrupt and hence you are not able to work or the application may support windows Xp or vista. So install the application under the system that supports other operating system and then you may get to a better conclusion.
