Problem while installing AVS Antispam in Windows 7

I have recently installed Windows 7 in my system and I am having a problem with the security component. The situation is that I am having a problem while installing AVS Antispam in Windows 7. When I try to install this software, nothing happens. I am using a dual boot system with Windows XP as the other operating system and this same software had been installed without any problems in XP. Please help me with the solutions that can be used in such types of problems.

It can be clearly seen that the problem while installing AVS Antispam in Windows 7 is an incompatibility issue. This is why it is recommended that the installation to Windows 7 should be avoided. It is good that you have kept Windows XP, so that you will be able to use the incompatible programs and applications of Windows 7 in Windows XP. I suggest you to get rid of Windows 7.

If you are having a problem while installing AVS Antispam in Windows 7, then I advice you to run the hardware and software evaluation tool in the Windows 7 operating system, since this is a software that lists the softwares, applications and programs that are incompatible with the operating system. If AVS Antispam is shown as incompatible, then you do not have to worry as there are many alternatives for this software.

    Hello Ransom,
Do you have another AV software installed?

Also, did you check compatibility with Windows 7?
Check out the Windows 7 Compatibility site: (There you will find out about hardware and software compatibilty.)
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx
There is a pulldown from which you can choose "hardware" and "software".

There are also some great articles, instructional videos and such to help with your Windows 7 at our Springboard site:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/default.aspx

    Thanks again,
