Time Machine: backup disk is not available

Hi I have a big concern for time machine ...

I said I have an airport extreme which I have two hard drives, one for all my data and the other exclusively for time machine everything went perfectly I realized the time machine backups via the software to my external HD plugged into the airport extreme but since some time (I stopped for a moment the backup time to move) it will not make backups on the external hard drive . First it found more readily in the dd external tab to choose a disk in time machine it is imperative that I connect on the first disc and once recognized and it told me select the "e backup disk n 'is unavailable "and I can not save .

    Help me out please..

    1. eject the disk network Finder
    2. disables Time Machine
    3. mounts the disk in the network Finder
    4. re-active Time Machine and re-select the network volume mounted as a hard landing. Better?

Otherwise, again and restarts terminal (properly, with theAirPort Utility) Between step 2 and 3.

    Time Machine: Troubleshooting backup issues

This can happen if all volumes are in the 'Do not backup' list. To view the list, open System Preferences. In the Time Machine preference pane, click Options. Verify you have not excluded all available volumes.

Re: Time Machine: backup disk is not available

I had a similar issue. In my case it was because the backup disk has been formatted as "Mac OS Extended (Case Sensitive Journaled)" and my computer hard drive was formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). I formatted my backup drive for the same parameters as the computer and it works well now. You do not know if it's the same problem you are experiencing but it worked for me.
