Hello
if I format my internal HD and a 100% resintall mac os
I can then restore with Time Machine:
all my email accounts + emails + address book? all my documents and photos
All settings for Mac OS, all applications that I had before?
thank you

That said, the easiest way, if you have a Time Machine backup, it does not restore this or that after formatting, is to restore the entire system disk included (booting the installation DVD, and after the language choice menu "Tools" or "Utilities" I remember his exact name, and then you choose the option "Restore a backup Time Machine" (the latter below).
If you have already installed a system, then it will go through the migration wizard to recover accounts and applications.
thank you
As the object to redo a clean installation I'd like to install mac os only then do as you say migration
in this case I can recover: emails, accounts, apps ... ?
With perhaps to reinstall some applications (those that put things in folders "Libraries" and "System" located at the root of the disk).
Now, if you have any problems from files in the folder "Library" folder in your "home", the migration assistant is likely to migrate too.
If you want only one or two things, then you can just what you want to restore selectively. do not do any type of failback. Ctrl-click on TM in the Dock and select "Browse other TM disks". This will allow you to browse the old backups. When you want something to restore select, then click on the "gears" action button in the viewfinder of the toolbar and select "restore to .."
