What are the challenges in Linux cluster virtualization technology?

Today in the IT industry, virtualization technology has been ready to go, but in Linux cluster is difficult to succeed. It is an unfortunate thing, because the system provides only a virtual option makes no sense. Linux cluster system should pay more attention to the viability of virtualization technology and high development. That is the reason I want to discuss the challenges in Linux cluster virtualization technology.

Linux cluster of virtual technology and other methods are different

VMWare and Xen both ideas, they can run and fully install multiple cores. Run the cluster on the provision of a virtual technology is not limited by the opportunity to create an application just to run the necessary conditions for a relaxed environment. When the system server has a task requires a major network terminal to complete, at which time the computer terminal only need to run the application so that it can improve work efficiency, which both formal and traditional virtual system is different.

Re: What are the challenges in Linux cluster virtualization technology?

According to me a number of IT industry were that they use symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) systems, high-intensity calculation. The Linux cluster technology in the transplant may encounter these challenges? Actually the answer to this question depends to a large extent of the application you are running applications. The earliest applications into the cluster type is the user parameters of delivery systems. In this model, multiple independent applications are running on a different data processor.

Re: What are the challenges in Linux cluster virtualization technology?

Well if the symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) system is applied is based on the work of its high efficiency single process, Beowulf cluster would be a good substitute. However, if the symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) system is based on shared memory multi-process work, then the application could cause the structure of complex. A traditional occasion for the application of SMP is to convert databases. This is a fine communication and locked in a special running on SMP, but the cluster can achieve the same result. Therefore, careful analysis needs to be transplanted into the SMP cluster to determine whether it is feasible.

Linux clusters can finally get high availability to maintain its inherent complexity

Scalability does not exclude its high-availability, so Linux clusters can achieve high availability (HA). High availability (HA) is based on a business on the applications and data on the stability of the support. Computer programs such as uptime standards should be more than 99.999%, which means a day, can only have one second of downtime. The classic high-performance cluster configuration includes two servers, each able to understand each other and share the status of a storage subsystem. If anyone server fails, another will take all the work. The reliability of high-performance clusters to achieve stability is through troubleshooting, load balancing, redundancy handling, as well as a number of other ways to be two or more servers connected together, thereby reducing the storage necessary or incidental loss, and shared storage devices.

Re: What are the challenges in Linux cluster virtualization technology?

According to me absolute capacity limits, the large clusters are likely to frequent problems, so we need to design procedures for how to deal with these issues. However, this design does not happen automatically, and now a lot of tools on the market do not solve this problem. Well-designed subsystems, for example, have a good management capacity of the commercial assessment system that can handle the increased scalability. This means that measurement of a wide range of parameters and to avoid those plethoras of problems that often occur in a terminal occupies a lot of memory or system page file data which led to the other terminals are unable to work.
