DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7

Hello everyone, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate operating system with 2 GB RAM and Core2Duo processor. The DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7 and I cannot understand why this is happening. If anyone has any idea about the situation, kindly help as soon as possible. Is this the problem of the operating system? My friends have suggested that a change of the ripping software will solve the problem.

It is possible that the software that you are using for ripping the DVDs is not fully compatible with this particular operating system. This may be the reason why the DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7. There are problems with many such applications and softwares in this operating system. So, I suggest you to run the hardware and software evaluation tool in your system and this will know if this software is incompatible with Windows 7 or not.

If DVD ripping is very slow in Windows 7, then this is a problem of incompatibility. Because of such problems, it is advised by many experts that installation or upgradation to this operating system should be avoided. There are no problems with the previous version of the Windows operating systems like XP and Vista and even after that the users are switching to Windows 7.
