Remove Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2?

I have to do a little cleaning on my hard disk, C is full now. and I find the list of programs: Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 and Microsoft.NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2 ... I wonder if I can uninstall one (see both, and if one which one) without trashing my computer ... These programs are really useful?

    Hi,

If you want to do the cleaning, download .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 it will overwrite the first version, this program is useful to run developing applications such as visual studio and sharp develop etc.

    .NET Framework Cleanup Tool

Use the .NET Framework Cleanup Tool , This .NET Framework cleanup tool is designed to automatically perform a set of steps to remove selected versions of the .NET Framework from a computer. It will remove files, directories, registry keys and values and Windows Installer product registration information for the .NET Framework.

Microsoft .NET Framework programs are useful for the proper functioning then I advise you to defragment your hard drive as follows

start Computer -> right click on C takes you and into properties window " EXTRA " there you select DE-FRAGMENTATION.

How to manually remove and then reinstall the .NET Framework 2.0

Remove the .NET Framework 2.0 from the Windows Installer cache:

    1. Click Start, click Run, type installer in the Open box, and then click OK.
    2. On the View menu in Windows Installer, click Details.
    3. Right-click the Name column header, and then click Comments.
    4. Right-click the cached Windows Installer file that has the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 RTL x86 enu comment, and then click Uninstall.
    5. After the uninstall process has completed, quit Windows Installer.

Manually delete the following from the computer. Note Depending on the current condition of the .NET Framework installation, these items may not exist on the computer.

    • The URTTemp folder
    • The Mscoree.dll file
    • The v2.0.50727 folder

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, click Run, type system32 in the Open box, and then click OK. The contents of the System32 folder appear in Windows Explorer.
    2. Locate and then delete the URTTemp folder.
    3. Locate and then delete the mscoree.dll file.
