The hardware and software evaluation wizard has to be run in the system to know if it is possible to install Photo Image Inpainter in Windows 7. This tool can be used in any operating system to check if any particular software is incompatible with the system or not. You do not have to worry if this tool lists this tool as incompatible, since there are many complements for this software in the market.

Re: Can I install Photo Image Inpainter in Windows 7

You can install Photo Image Inpainter in Windows 7 only if you download the latest version of this software. Search for the same on the internet and if you get the new version of this software, then well and good. If you dont, then the old version of Photo Image Inpainter will not work in Windows 7, since they were not developed so as to support Windows 7 platform.

It is possible to install Photo Image Inpainter in Windows 7, but I am not sure that it will work fine. If you want to run the same without any problems, then I suggest you to troubleshoot compatibility option as this can help you to set the operating system in the compatibility mode. You can do this setting by yourself or you can also let the system to do this setting. If you find that the application is running fine, then just apply them for the future.

    Hello Jessse,

    Have you checked compatibility?
    Just an FYI for you.

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.
Check out the Windows 7 Compatibility site: (There you will find out about hardware and software compatibility.)
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/com...s/default.aspx
There is a pulldown from which you can choose "hardware" and "software".

There are also some great articles, instructional videos and such to help with your Windows 7 at our Springboard site:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/default.aspx

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.

Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...egory/w7itpro/ . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads available there for additional assitance and support.

    Thanks again,
