Where is the backup of the iPhone on Mac?

Good evening!

When you connect a new iPhone, iTunes offers to restore a backup of the old iPhone.

It then presents as new, and especially puts the SMS!

That's what interested to recover, But however much I searched everywhere I think it may be, I can not find a file backup of the iPhone .

If you know where it is hiding ..please tell me.

Hello,

Folder Mobilesync is not back by time machine.

This is not a choice of Pref time machine, I backup the whole disk.

I look in the 23 backup and nothing, same as today.

Is it save to another folder?

If you have any ideas

Re: Where is the backup of the iPhone on Mac?

The folder where your backup data is stored changes depending on the computer's operating system. Since iTunes only keeps one backup per device, you should ensure the backup folder is included in your periodic data backup routine.

For Windows Vista it is : \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\AppleComputer\MobileSync\Backup\

iTunes places the backup files in the following places:

On a Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

On Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

On Windows Vista:
\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
