    Eeebuntu in notebook

I have a notebook, the processor is Intel Atom N270 with 1GB of RAM, I installed Linux, the distribution is Eeebuntu.

Internet is slow, takes too long to load and view a website's Internet video is unthinkable, but many images are not loaded and did not think it's a problem with my internet connection, I connected to another pc with windows xp and going great.

Can you give me tips to improve surfing the internet and computer performance?

    Thanks

Do you use the same dns on both computers?

Let's see how they go ... Run this:

    dig google.com
Then change the DNS for those of google (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or from OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) and do the same test to compare results.

If you have not installed another network operator, surely you must use network-manager. In the network icon you see in the main bar: dcho click and select "Edit connections", then select your wireless connection (click on "Edit"). The settings tab is where you find the box for dns.

If you find it difficult that the other option is to edit by hand resolv.conf. I think ...

    Greetings.

    Re: Eeebuntu in notebook

Is the distribution eeebuntu came installed by default in the netbook? I say this because if you installed it maybe more worthwhile to install Ubuntu or Kubuntu netbook remix netbook remix. I understand that eeebuntu is outdated and can not work with new computers.

I have installed Kubuntu netbook and going great, except the wifi I had to install ndiswrapper, and special keys. But I think this is because I have an Asus and they got this Christmas is "too new" to the current distribution of Ubuntu.

Part of this problem could be from the "EeePC disappeared" inbox. My video Flash only works well when higher-performance modes. If you're stuck in saving energy and can not change to a faster, your flash probably would be sleazy. I recommend uninstall and reinstall the applet.
