You will have to run the hardware and software evaluation tool in Windows 7 to check that whether it is possible to install UserGate Mail Server in Windows 7 or not. This tool is used to lists the softwares, applications and programs in the system that are incompatible. SO, if it shows that this particular software is incompatible, then it is better to find some alternative. If there are no problems shown, then the software will work fine in Windows 7.

There are many incompatibility issues in Windows 7. So, I dont think that it is possible to install UserGate Mail Server in Windows 7. It is better to stay away from this operating system, since there will be issues with many other softwares and applications that used to run fine in the previous versions of the Windows operating systems. There are no problems with Windows XP, so there is no need for an upgradation too.

It will be possible to install UserGate Mail Server in Windows 7 if you use the latest version of this software in your system. The developers are making it a point that the new versions of the softwares that are being released should work in all the operating systems that are available in the market. But, if you try to install the old version of this software, it is possible that there will be some sorts of issues.
