You need to install POP3 and SMTP service components for Windows Server 2003. Windows Server 2003 is not installed by default, POP3 and SMTP service components, so we have to manually add. You need to login as a system administrator log on Windows Server 2003 systems. Turn into the "Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add / Remove Windows Components" in the pop-up "Windows Components Wizard" dialog box, select the "e-mail service" option, click on "details" button, you can see This option consists of two parts: POP3 services, and POP3 services, Web Management. For the convenience of Web users to remotely manage mail server, it is recommended to select "POP3 Service Web management." Check and reply.

You can also set up remote Web management. Windows Server 2003 also supports remote mail server Web management. In the remote client machine, run the IE browser, type in the address bar "https: / / server IP address: 8098," which would pop-up connection dialog box, enter the administrator user name and password, click "OK" button, that is, can be found at Web management interface. Best of luck.

You also need to create e-mail domains. Click "Start > Administrative Tools > POP3 service", the pop-up POP3 Service console window. Selected in the left column of the POP3 service, click on the right column in the "new domain", pop-up "Add Domain" dialog box, and then in the "Domain Name" field enter the mail server domain name, that is, e-mail address "@" followed by the Some, such as "abc.net", finally click "OK" button. In which "abc.net" in the Internet domain name registered, and the domain name in the DNS server set up MX Mail Exchange records, resolves to Windows Server 2003 mail server IP address.
