Can I work with Gantt Chart in Windows 7

Gantt Chart is a software that I am using currently in my system with Windows XP operating system. This software can be used as a project plan system. I need to know that can I work with Gantt Chart in Windows 7, since I will be upgrading to Windows 7 soon. If this is not possible, then what are the solutions that I will be able to use to make it work in Windows 7. Please reply with suitable solutions as soon as possible.

I guess that you will have to run the hardware and software evaluation wizard in your system to check if you can work with Gantt Chart in Windows 7. If this tool lists this particular software as incompatible, then there is no need to worry. There are many alternatives and complements that are available in the market. Search for them on the internet and your problem will be solved.

Hello there, I do not think that you will be able to work with Gantt Chart in Windows 7, since there are incompatibility issues with many applications and programs for the operating system. There are no problems with Windows XP, so why do an upgradation. Also, for an upgradation to Windows 7 from Windows XP, a clean install is needed. So, it is better to quit installation to Windows 7.

Following are the system requirements of Gantt Chart:

1. Operating system: Windows XP
2. RAM: 32 MB or more
3. Hard Disk: 20 MB free

Since, the operating systems that are shown in the system requirements above does not show that it supports Windows 7 or not, I do not think that you can work with Gantt Chart in Windows 7.

Search for the compatibility tool for Gantt Chart on the internet. If you get that tool, then it is possible to work with Gantt Chart in Windows 7. Such tools have been released for the particular softwares and applications, so that the incompatibility issues that are being encountered can be solved. Install the compatibility tool before you install Gantt Chart. This will solve the problem of incompatibility that the software has with the operating system.

Just an FYI for you.

It is always best to check with the software manufacturer FIRST. They will tell you if they have tested the product and the version, as well as whether or not it will work with Windows 7.

In any event a lot of the times, Vista drivers will work in lieu of Windows 7 drivers, however, it's not 100%!

As stated previously, it's best to have the Windows 7 certified drivers installed.
